Fava Bean with Yakisoba Noodles

Ingredients

  • Oil to film a wok

  • 5 pounds of fava beans shelled, blanched and jackets taken off

  • 1 pound yakisoba noodles, broken up

  • 1/4 cup good quality soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Directions

Heat your wok on high heat. Film with oil. Add fava beans and stir-fry to blister in spots. Add noodles; keep stirring until the noodles are brown in spots. Add soy sauce and butter. Stir to coat and melt butter. Makes a nice appetizer or side for a grilled steak or chicken.
