Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon

The 2011 Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon will be held on Labor Day weekend (race day is Sept. 4th). The inaugural event was a resounding success as runners from near and far reveled in the friendly charm of the Willamette Valley. This scenic course meanders through the heart of the valley in Yamhill County, beginning at magnificent Stoller Winery and finishing in the town of Carlton for the popular post-race Wine & Music Festival. Less than an hour south of Portland this area is dotted with small towns, orchards, Christmas tree farms, vineyards and ranches. Come experience this inviting wine region when the weather is ideal and the vines are full and ready for harvest.
