In celebration of the New Year at the Garden, our good friend Chef Naoko Tamura of Chef Naoko Bento Café will demonstrate the preparation of some of special New Year’s dishes. Learn about the food customs that surround the important annual observance of O-Shogatsu, Japanese New Year, taste the delicious results, and take home easy-to-follow recipes. Chef Naoko uses locally grown, organic ingredients in her popular bento restaurant located at SW 13th & Jefferson Street in Portland.
